Spring 2007 Line Bios DELTA KAPPA #1 Anthony Threatts Anthony D. Threatts was born in Columbus, GA. He is a sophomore majoring in Business Management at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Brother Threatts’ plan after graduation is to complete the Masters of Business Administration Degree. His employment goal is to work in a corporate environment possibly in Real Estate. He currently serves as a Tutor to Athletes at Georgia Tech. #2 David Long David T. Long was born in Philadelphia, PA and raised in South Carolina. David is currently a junior at the Georgia Institute of Technology where he is majoring in Mechanical Engineering. Brother Long plans to enlist in the Navy after graduation. #3 Michael Reed Michael L. Reed was born and raised in Atlanta. He is sophomore majoring in Mechanical Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Brother Reed is member of the African American Student Union, the National Society of Black Engineers and the Georgia Tech chapter of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. Brother Reed plans to work in corporate America and someday become a Math Teacher. CHI GAMMA GAMMA #1 Brother Stanley Griffin Stanley Todd Griffin, Jr. was born in East Orange, NJ and as military child lived in Tennessee, Chicago, Detroit, Mississippi and Missouri. Stan graduated from Morehouse College with a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Marketing. He works as a Realtor and is also a Real Estate Investor. This multitalented entrepreneur is a Music Producer and Recording Artist, Writer and Publisher, Event Planner and Promoter. He is currently doing private study in Neuroscience, Thermogenics, Spanish and Italian. He is married and has two children. . # 2 Brother Christopher Skipwith Christopher Gemil Skipwith was born in Atlanta. He graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Chemistry where his concentration was in Bio-Chemistry. He plans to attend medical school this fall. Brother Skipwith works as a Laboratory Researcher with the Centers for Disease Control and is a part time Tutor with the Cobb County School System. Brother Skipwith holds membership in the National Organization of Black Chemist and Chemical Engineers and the George S. Owen Fellow Foundation. #3 Brother Thomas Ford Thomas Allen Ford, Jr. was born and raised in St. Augustine, FL. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Florida. Brother Ford also has a Masters in Education Leadership from Florida Atlantic University and a Masters of Science - Information Technology, from American Intercontinental University. Brother Ford currently resides in College Park with his wife Melissa Ford. He is the owner of Mirror Image Productions. Brother Ford is also a member of the Vicious Cyclez Motorcycle Club. #4 Brother Tranard McConnell Tranard Lecardo McConnell was born in Atlanta at Northside Hospital. He received the Bachelors of Science in Management from Albany State University. Brother McConnell is currently pursuing a teaching certification. He recently relocated to Austell and works as a Benefits Analyst for retiree programs for Hewitt Associates, LLC. Brother McConnell also is a Consultant for Hewlett- Packard. Brother McConnell is the owner of TLM Consulting Group, LLC and a member of Black Intelligentsia.
